About Us

Life on Life's Terms

No one ever planned their life to be "bumpy." But sometimes we find ourselves stuck in a pothole. At that moment, life seems to be placed on hold while we watch the rain clouds come rolling in.  We know we cannot get out of this rut on our own. But we do not know where to turn for help.

We work with clients based on their individual needs. We have a team of support to get you through this and back onto a smoother path.

Partner Abuse Invention Programs (PAIP)

Domestic Violence is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working one client at at time to put ourselves out of business to end the suffering.

We are protocol approved by the Illinois Department of Human Services to provide treatment to provide Partner Abuse Invention Programs in Schaumburg, St. Charles, and West Dundee, Illinois. We hold groups for Men and Women who have caused harm to their Significant Others.

Drugs and Alcohol can not only hurt ourselves but it can hurt the ones we love. We provide treatment for those who are suffering in order to stop the cycle of addiction and to start building the relationships that may have been lost along the way through our affiliate Associates in Behavioral Health Care.

Counseling is provided via individual, group, and family counseling sessions.

You always start off winning. Otherwise you would have never went back to it. But at some point along the way, your losing streak surpassed the amount you won. Now your family is upset, you borrowed from anyone that you could and live as you know it is on the line.

You keep telling yourself "I just need one more win and I will stop" but that win didn't come and now you are at risk of losing even more.

We understand. And the hard work is going to take to get it all back will be difficult but well worth it. There is help!

We have certified counselors to help you and your loved ones.

You didn't realize that driving through the flat lands of Illinois was so enjoyable until you could no longer drive yourself on them. Most of your friends no longer answer their phone because they know you need a ride. Your boss is getting upset because you keep showing up late for work.

If your driver's license was revoked due to a DUI, you will need an Illinois licensed treatment to help you get it back. You may be surprised that some of the laws have changed over the past few years. You may even be able to drive now.

Call us today to set up an appointment with a Secretary of State specialist.

Semi-Trailers

The Nurturing Parenting Programs are a family-centered trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices.

The Nurturing Parenting Programs target all families at risk for abuse and neglect with children birth to 18 years. The programs feature activities to foster positive parenting skills with nurturing behaviors, promote healthy physical and emotional development, and teach appropriate role and developmental expectations.

The Nurturing Parenting Programs are designed to meet the family’s needs based on their parenting strengths and weaknesses. Nurturing Parenting Programs are designed for each of the three levels of prevention, commonly recognized in the fields of social work, mental health, and medicine: primary, secondary and tertiary. Dosage is a term used to indicate the number of sessions or length of a program. Dosage is also related to the three levels of prevention.

Driving Under the Influence (DUI)

So you went out for a night on the town. But you didn't think about how you were going to get home. You needed your car in the morning to get to work.

You thought, you were OK to drive but the officer who pulled you over didn't agree. You were arrested for DUI and now have to do an evaluation and/or classes.

Our affiliate, Associates in Behavioral health Care, is Licensed by the Illinois Department of Alcohol and Substance Abuse to complete your court ordered evaluation and treatment.
